A region you control.

Draw up to eight rectangles on the actual spectrum, then set exact seconds, Hz and attenuation. Render edits and compare Original, Processed and Removed. Logarithmic frequency display shows channel 1.

Files you can keep.

Nine-file ZIP: processed and removed Float32 WAVs, unchanged original, before/after spectrograms, region CSV, source-backed project JSON, proof PDF and readme. Save, reopen, rename, duplicate or delete twelve local projects.

Scope and limits

Mono or stereo WAV, AIFF, M4A, 8–96 kHz. Up to 12 seconds, 1 million decoded frames and 24 MiB source. Project JSON up to 34 MiB; saved sources up to 200 MiB. FFT 2048 / hop 512 square-root Hann weighted overlap-add, 40 ms / 2-bin edge feathers. STFT windows can affect about 21 ms beyond a time edge. This is rectangular attenuation, not AI reconstruction, interpolation, source separation or automatic noise recognition. Wanted sound can change too. Files are unscaled; audition uses a common sample-peak safety gain when needed. Keep originals and check results in your destination.

Support

Email maga40@naver.com with app version, device, source format/rate/channel count and steps. Sending source audio is optional; do not send private recordings unless you choose to. You must have rights to process and share your files.

Privacy policy

Brumelet does not collect data. There is no microphone recording, login, developer server, network service, advertising, analytics or tracking SDK. Source, working edits and saved projects stay in the app’s local storage. A project JSON embeds its original source. Audio and documents leave the app only through your chosen system share or export destination. Those destinations and device backups follow their own policies/settings. Delete saved projects inside the library; uninstall removes app-local data. Keep exported copies separately.

Brumelet is a local audio editing utility. It does not certify noise removal, content authenticity, acoustic quality or professional delivery. Review and listen before use. Purchase and distribution use Apple’s standard App Store terms. Apple reviews the app before public availability.
