Bounded and straightforward.
Import exactly two-channel WAV, AIFF or M4A decodable by your device. Up to32MiB,120 seconds and6 million decoded frames;8–192kHz. Save twelve local sessions with rename, duplicate and delete. iOS17 or later.
Mid=(L+R)/2, Side=(L−R)/2. Goniometer is a sampled range summary, autoscaled, not a live meter. Correlation is undefined for zero-energy channels. Sample peak is not true peak or LUFS. No limiter, microphone, AUv3, live processing, voice/instrument isolation or mastering judgement. With the ceiling off, output may exceed0dBFS. Use audio you have rights to use and check your destination editor's levels.

Privacy policy
Effective October3,2026. Sidespan does not collect data. No developer server upload, account, analytics, advertising SDK or tracking. Imported source bytes, settings and saved sessions are stored locally on your device.
Sharing files is your choice through the system sheet and may transfer data to the destination you select under its own policy. Exported Project.json embeds original audio. Device backups follow your Apple/device backup settings. Delete saved sessions in the local library; remove exported/shared copies from their chosen destination yourself. Questions: maga40@naver.com.

Sidespan is an offline file utility. Keep backups and verify audio outputs before distribution or production use. You remain responsible for source rights and use of exported content. Original synthesized Glasshouse study and brand artwork are provided with the app. No processing result is a quality or mastering guarantee.
