Actual Slatewave iPhone batch workspace

A file handoff, ready to check

Each delivery includes named WAVs, a cue-sheet PDF, Cues.csv with actual first and last addresses, frame and sample counts, an importable Batch.csv, a Batch.json settings manifest and a README. Preview the real PDF and audition the actual WAV before sharing. Batch.json is a settings manifest, not an importable library backup.

Supported formats

23.976 NDF, 24, 25, 29.97 NDF, 29.97 DF and 30 fps. 44.1 or 48 kHz; 16 or 24-bit integer PCM; mono, LTC left with silent right, or LTC right with silent left. Square-wave level −24 to −3 dBFS. Eight hexadecimal user-bit digits, with unspecified group interpretation.

Keep up to 20 editable batches, with 12 clips per batch. Each clip requests 1–600 whole seconds; the batch total is at most 1,200 seconds. Length is rounded to whole frames and then whole samples. The last encoded address is inclusive; addresses wrap at 24 hours. Generate files while the app is active.

What it does

Slatewave generates files offline. It does not decode recordings, provide live jam synchronization, wall-clock sync, MIDI, Art-Net or calibrated electrical output. Hardware compatibility is not certified; test your own receiving workflow. Lower monitoring volume before auditioning the harsh LTC signal.

Support

Email maga40@naver.com with the app version, format and steps. Do not send private production files unless you intend to share them.

Import UTF-8 CSV up to 32 KB with the exact header name,start,seconds,user_bits and 1–12 rows. Import appends clips; use the same frame rate as the source. Drop-frame addresses skip frames 00 and 01 at the first second of minutes that are not multiples of ten. Invalid files are rejected as a whole.

Use Batch actions to change format, duplicate, delete or clear rendered files. Editing invalidates old output. Render again to replace the current delivery. Export requires free storage for WAVs and the ZIP; the app checks capacity before starting. Deleting a batch removes its local record and output. Already shared copies remain in their destinations.

Privacy policy

Effective October 2, 2026. Gobling Company does not collect data through Slatewave. The app has no developer-operated server, account, ads, analytics, tracking or network code. Timecode synthesis, CSV parsing and export happen on your device. No microphone access is requested.

Batch names, notes, clip names, timecodes, format settings and successful render counts are saved locally. You select files through the system Files picker. Share actions send only the files you choose to the destination you choose. Exports may include your names, timecodes and notes; review them before sharing.

Device backups and destinations follow your device and service settings. Rendered output is reproducible and excluded from backup where supported. Deleting a batch removes its local record and files. Uninstalling removes app-local data. Copies you shared or backed up are managed in those destinations. Gobling Company does not automatically receive them. Support email is separate from app data collection. Contact maga40@naver.com for privacy requests.
