Fieldring Privacy Policy

Fieldring compares telescope and eyepiece specifications locally. Your kit stays on your device unless you choose to share a field card.

1. Local Equipment Details

Fieldring stores the telescope and eyepiece names and optical specifications you enter in the app's local storage on your device. A new installation starts with an empty kit. The optional example kit is added only if you select it; representative App Store screenshots use a separate simulator-only example mode.

2. Field Card and Sharing

The app calculates optical estimates on your device and creates a PDF field card locally. You decide whether to share that PDF through the iOS share sheet. A service you choose for sharing may have its own privacy practices. Gobling Company does not receive your equipment details or PDF through the app.

3. Deletion and Data Collection

You can remove individual eyepieces in the app. Removing Fieldring deletes its local app data, subject to device backups; PDFs shared elsewhere remain at their chosen destinations. Fieldring has no account, advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud sync or developer-operated network service. Gobling Company does not collect data from the app.
