1. Local-first Checksum Verification

HashMark Desk is a local-first file checksum utility for Mac. Hash calculation and checksum verification happen locally on the user's Mac.

2. User-selected File Access

HashMark Desk reads only files and folders the user selects through Apple's system file picker. The app does not scan files, folders, or disk content in the background.

3. No Account Or Upload

HashMark Desk does not require an account and does not upload files, filenames, folder paths, calculated hashes, expected checksum values, or usage activity to a Gobling Company server.

4. No Tracking

HashMark Desk does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, account creation, cloud sync, or a Gobling Company backend server for file data.

5. Apple Services

HashMark Desk uses Apple's system frameworks for local app operation, sandboxed user-selected file access, local checksum calculation, clipboard copy actions, and App Store purchase delivery. Apple may process purchase and device information under Apple's own policies.
