LayoutPin Desk Privacy Policy

Gobling Company built LayoutPin Desk as a local-first macOS window layout utility. Layout names, notes, captured app names, window titles, positions, sizes, and restore history stay on your Mac unless you choose to share them yourself.

1. Local Window Layouts

LayoutPin Desk stores layout names, layout notes, captured app names, window titles, window positions, window sizes, and recent restore history locally on the user's Mac.

2. Accessibility Permission

LayoutPin Desk may ask for macOS Accessibility permission so it can move and resize windows when a user restores a saved layout. This permission is controlled by macOS System Settings and can be disabled by the user at any time.

The app does not use Accessibility permission to upload, track, or monitor user content for Gobling Company.

3. Clipboard

When a user copies a layout report, LayoutPin Desk writes plain text to the macOS clipboard. The app does not upload that copied text to Gobling Company.

4. No Account Or Cloud Sync

LayoutPin Desk does not require an account and does not sync layout names, notes, app names, window titles, positions, sizes, or restore history to a Gobling Company server or cloud service.

5. No Tracking

LayoutPin Desk does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, account creation, cloud sync, subscriptions, in-app purchases, or a Gobling Company backend server for app data.

6. Apple Services

LayoutPin Desk uses Apple's system frameworks for local storage, menu bar presentation, visible window metadata, Accessibility-controlled window movement, clipboard writing, and App Store purchase delivery. Apple may process purchase and device information under Apple's own policies.
