LinkMute Desk Privacy Policy

Gobling Company built LinkMute Desk as a local-first macOS link cleaning utility. URLs, cleaned links, removed parameter lists, rule settings, and notes stay on your Mac unless you choose to copy or export them.

1. Local Link Cleaning

LinkMute Desk is a local-first macOS utility for cleaning copied links before sharing. URLs, cleaned links, removed parameter lists, notes, rule settings, pinned state, and copy counts are stored locally on the user's Mac.

2. Clipboard Use

LinkMute Desk can read the macOS clipboard only when the user chooses Clean Clipboard. Clipboard content is processed locally to remove common tracking parameters and is not sent to Gobling Company.

3. No Account Or Cloud Sync

LinkMute Desk does not require an account and does not sync URLs, cleaned links, notes, rule settings, or export history to a Gobling Company server or cloud service.

4. User-controlled Export And Copy

The app can copy cleaned links or a local report to the macOS clipboard when the user chooses those actions. The app can also export a CSV file to a location selected by the user.

5. No Tracking

LinkMute Desk does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, account creation, cloud sync, or a Gobling Company backend server for link data.

6. Apple Services

LinkMute Desk uses Apple's system frameworks for local app operation, local file export, clipboard actions, and App Store purchase delivery. Apple may process purchase and device information under Apple's own policies.
