Compare two audio exports. Align the samples, match a constant gain, and listen to A minus adjusted B. Export the actual difference as an unscaled float32 WAV with measured CSV and PDF.
From two files to one residual
Create a comparison and import A and B from Files. They must have matching sample rates and channel counts. Adjust B by integer samples, optionally invert polarity, and match constant gain using least squares. The offset suggestion searches channel 1 in the first two seconds within ±4096 samples.
Switch actual playback between A, adjusted B and Difference at the same playhead. Inspect the common time view and measured one-second windows. The residual waveform may be displayed at ×8; this affects only the visual scale. Save comparison names, notes, original source copies, adjustments and generated packages locally.
Export difference opens the package screen. Create export package writes Difference-float32.wav, Difference-windows.csv and Comparison-report.pdf. Preview the report, share files individually or share all three. The export preserves mathematical samples; playback is attenuated when necessary to remain below full scale.
Limits and interpretation
Files that iOS can decode, up to 100MB each, 0.2–120seconds, mono/stereo, 8–96kHz. Only overlapping samples are compared. No resampling, clock-drift or fractional-delay correction, spectral repair, blind ABX or automatic sound-quality judgment. Relative RMS is not LUFS. Near-zero differences do not prove perceptual equivalence. Listen, inspect alignment and use suitable listening levels.
Float32 WAV may contain samples above ±1. Use a float-WAV capable audio editor. Keep separate exported copies before deleting a comparison or uninstalling.
Support
Email maga40@naver.com with app version, device, sample rate/channel count and the issue. Do not send personal recordings unless needed and intentionally chosen. For a comparison question include offset, gain and polarity settings.
Privacy policy
Effective October1,2026. Nullpane is provided by Gobling Company. It does not collect or transmit audio, comparison records, names, notes, settings or exports to a developer server. No account, advertising, analytics, tracking or third-party SDK is included.
Only files you select are read. Imported copies, names/notes, settings and generated WAV/CSV/PDF files are saved in local app storage. The library starts empty. A clearly labeled synthesized example is created only when you request it.
System sharing sends selected files only to destinations you choose; their own terms apply. CSV and PDF identify source names and comparison settings, and PDF includes your note. Review these before sharing.
Swipe a saved comparison to delete it and its source copies and exports. Deleting the app removes local app data. Previously exported or shared copies remain at their destinations and must be removed there. Device backups may include local app data according to your Apple or computer settings.
Email support receives information you choose to send. This website sends ordinary web requests to its hosting provider. Neither action is required to compare or export audio. Contact the support address for privacy questions.
