PDF Bates Desk Privacy Policy

PDF Bates Desk is a local-first Bates numbering tool for iPhone and iPad. PDFs are imported only when the user chooses a file through Apple's document picker. Bates prefix, start number, digit count, placement, margin, first-page handling, notes, preview state, exported PDF copies, and CSV manifest text are stored on the user's device unless the user chooses to copy or share them through iOS system features.

PDF Bates Desk does not require an account and does not upload PDFs, Bates labels, document names, notes, exported PDFs, or CSV manifests to a Gobling Company server.

PDF Bates Desk does not provide legal advice, file court documents, contact courts, connect to legal services, read cloud drives automatically, use OCR, scan documents automatically, or create an attorney-client relationship. The app only applies user-configured Bates labels to PDFs chosen by the user.

The app can create a stamped PDF copy and CSV manifest from local PDF and numbering settings. Copying, saving, or sharing those outputs is user-initiated and handled through iOS system features.

PDF Bates Desk does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, account creation, cloud sync, or a Gobling Company backend server for PDFs or Bates numbering data.

PDF Bates Desk uses Apple's system frameworks for file picking, local app operation, local storage, clipboard actions, sharing, and App Store purchase delivery. Apple may process purchase and device information under Apple's own policies.
