PinBoard Desk Privacy Policy

PinBoard Desk is a local-first Mac floating note board utility. Note titles, note bodies, note colors, pinned state, done state, search text, copied summaries, and board preferences are used on the user's Mac to provide the note board experience.

Gobling Company does not receive note text, search history, copied summaries, board preferences, or app usage history.

PinBoard Desk does not monitor clipboard history. It only writes selected note text or a board summary to the clipboard when the user chooses a copy action.

The app does not read, store, or upload unrelated clipboard contents.

PinBoard Desk does not require an account and does not upload note data to a Gobling Company server.

The app does not include cloud sync, developer-server storage, account login, advertising, analytics, or tracking.

PinBoard Desk stores its note board locally on the user's Mac using macOS app storage.

The user controls any separate backups, file copies, exports, or device-level sync handled outside the app by macOS or other software.

PinBoard Desk uses Apple's system frameworks for local app operation, sandboxing, preferences, clipboard copy actions, menu bar controls, window behavior, and App Store purchase delivery.

Apple may process purchase and device information under Apple's own terms and privacy policies. Gobling Company does not receive or store payment card details.
