1. Public Feed Requests
When a user enters a public HTTPS podcast feed URL, Podcast Feed Check requests that feed directly from the device. The app can also send HEAD requests to the feed artwork and up to three recent episode media URLs to check response status, content type, and byte-range support. Those requests go to the feed or media host selected by the user, whose privacy practices apply.
2. Imported Files
RSS or XML files are read only after the user selects them through Apple's file picker. Podcast Feed Check does not upload imported files to Gobling Company.
3. Local Audit History
Feed details, issue findings, readiness scores, endpoint results, and audit history are stored locally on the device. Gobling Company does not receive this content.
4. Reports And Sharing
PDF, CSV, and Markdown reports are generated on the device. They leave the app only when the user selects a destination through Apple's system share sheet or Files interface. The selected destination's privacy practices then apply.
5. No Account Or Tracking
Podcast Feed Check has no account, subscription, in-app purchase, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, tracking SDK, cloud dashboard, or Gobling Company backend upload.
6. Deletion
Users can remove saved checks from the app. Removing the app can remove locally stored audit history and reports, so users should share or save any report they want to keep first.
