Private Budget Envelopes Privacy Policy

Private Budget Envelopes is a local-first envelope budgeting utility for iPhone and iPad. The app does not require an account and does not upload budget envelopes to a Gobling Company server.

Envelope names, categories, monthly limits, spending entries, notes, rollover choices, reset state, and CSV export text are stored locally on your device so the app can run and remember your monthly budget.

Private Budget Envelopes does not connect to banks, credit cards, brokerage accounts, payment processors, open banking APIs, or cloud finance services.

The app does not ask for bank credentials, card numbers, account numbers, or transaction feed access.

Private Budget Envelopes can prepare CSV text from budget envelopes stored locally in the app.

When you copy or share CSV text, the selected data is handed to iOS system features or to the destination app that you choose. Gobling Company does not control third-party apps or services selected from the iOS share sheet.

Private Budget Envelopes does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, account creation, cloud sync, or a Gobling Company backend server for budget data.

Gobling Company does not use your local budget envelopes to profile you, target advertising, or track you across apps and websites.

Private Budget Envelopes uses Apple's system frameworks for local app operation, local storage, clipboard actions, sharing, and App Store purchase delivery.

Apple may process purchase-related information under Apple's own terms and privacy policies. Gobling Company does not receive or store payment card details.

Private Budget Envelopes is an organization and budgeting tool. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, banking, credit, or financial advice.

You are responsible for deciding how to budget, spend, save, export, or share information, and for consulting qualified professionals when needed.

You can edit or reset budget envelopes inside the app where controls are available.

If you delete the app from your device, iOS removes the app's local container and the locally stored data associated with the app.
