Gobling Company built RegexShelf Desk as a local-first regular expression testing utility for Mac. Regex patterns, sample text, match results, saved pattern notes, and validation reports stay on your Mac unless you copy or share them yourself.

1. Local Regex Work

RegexShelf Desk is a local-first macOS utility for testing regular expressions, sample text, capture groups, replacement previews, saved pattern snippets, and validation reports. This work stays on the user's Mac.

2. No Server Processing

RegexShelf Desk does not upload regex patterns, sample text, replacement templates, match results, validation reports, saved pattern notes, or copied output to Gobling Company or any third-party server.

3. No Account Or Cloud Sync

RegexShelf Desk does not require an account and does not provide cloud sync, collaborative storage, analytics accounts, or developer-server storage for regex content.

4. User-controlled Clipboard

The app can copy a pattern, replacement preview, or validation report to the macOS clipboard only when the user chooses a copy action. After copying, the user controls where that text is pasted or shared.

5. No Tracking

RegexShelf Desk does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, account creation, cloud sync, or a Gobling Company backend server for regex data.

6. Apple Services

RegexShelf Desk uses Apple's system frameworks for local app operation, sandboxed clipboard actions, local storage, and App Store purchase delivery. Apple may process purchase and device information under Apple's own policies.
