Rollmuse

MIDI, on paper.

Create printable piano-roll charts from your own Standard MIDI files on iPhone and iPad. Choose tracks, set the quarter-beat range, save named layouts and share an actual chart package.

Charts and files

Pitch runs across the paper and time flows downward. Choose A4 or US Letter; 8, 16 or 32 quarter beats per page; note labels or black ink. Export a real PDF, a vector SVG for each page, Notes.csv with exact selected note events and visible clipping bounds, Layout.json, your unchanged Source.mid and Readme.txt in one ZIP.

Charts show note-on/off duration, not sustain pedal. Same-pitch notes on different tracks may visually overlap; CSV retains each selected note. These are diagrams, not engraved staff notation or mechanical player-piano rolls. No MIDI playback, audio transcription, DAW editing, instrument connection or performance assessment.

Supported files and limits

Standard MIDI format 0 or 1, PPQ timing. Up to 4 MB, 128 tracks, 50,000 notes, 200,000 events and 8,192 quarter beats per source. Select up to eight note tracks and 512 quarter beats per chart package. The local library holds 30 projects and 20 named layouts per project. Format 2, SMPTE timing, corrupted files and unmatched note pairs are rejected. Keep originals separately; the package is not an importable library backup.

Support

Email maga40@naver.com with the app version, device, file format and issue. Share a MIDI file only if you choose to and have rights to share it.

Privacy policy

Effective October 1, 2026. Gobling Company provides Rollmuse. No account, ads, analytics, tracking, third-party data SDK or developer-server upload. MIDI sources, parsed notes, names, layout settings and generated files are processed and saved locally. The app does not collect these data.

The system Files picker gives the app the file you select. Rollmuse retains a local copy. The app does not request microphone, camera, photo, contact or instrument access. Native sharing sends a package to the destination you choose. It includes the original MIDI, selected notes, track names and settings; review it before sharing. Destinations have their own privacy policies.

Swipe Delete in Saved projects to remove that project's library record and source. Swipe Delete in Saved layouts to remove a layout. Previously generated local exports can remain in app storage until uninstalling, and already shared copies remain at their destinations. Uninstalling removes app-local data; Apple/device backups may contain those files according to your settings.

Support receives only information you choose to email. Website visits create ordinary hosting requests. Neither is required for local use.

Terms of use

Use MIDI files you are authorized to process and distribute. Inspect output and keep your source files. Files may contain user names or other text in track metadata. These diagrams are not notation or performance advice. One upfront App Store purchase; no subscription or in-app purchases. App Store terms and applicable law govern purchases.
