SpecProof Studio Privacy Policy

SpecProof Studio reads a folder only after you select or drop it into the app. It inspects visible regular files in that folder and its subfolders. The app does not change your originals.

The app checks file extensions, sizes, filenames, raster image dimensions and color profile names, and PDF page counts against the client brief you enter. These checks run on your Mac. Files and results are not sent to Gobling Company.

Client briefs and recent inspection results are saved in the app's local Application Support folder so you can review them later. The app stores the inspected filenames and measured properties in that local history. You can remove the app's data using macOS file management.

PDF and CSV reports are created on your Mac only when you choose to export them. You choose the destination. If you later share a report through another service, that service's privacy practices apply.

SpecProof Studio does not require an account and contains no advertising, analytics, tracking SDK, cloud sync, or Gobling Company file-upload service. Gobling Company does not collect personal data through the app.

Inspection results reflect the folder at the time of scanning. They are practical delivery checks, not a guarantee that a client, printer, publisher, or other recipient will accept the files.
