TagBoard Desk Privacy Policy

Gobling Company built TagBoard Desk as a local-first macOS file tagging utility. File names, file paths, Finder tags, custom tags, board notes, recent tag runs, and copied report state stay on your Mac unless you choose to share them yourself.

1. Local File Board

TagBoard Desk stores user-selected file names, file paths, selected Finder tags, custom tags, board notes, recent tag runs, and copied report state locally on the user's Mac.

2. User-Selected File Access

TagBoard Desk works only with files the user explicitly selects through macOS file access. The app applies Finder tags to those selected files locally on the Mac.

3. Clipboard

When a user selects Copy Board Report, TagBoard Desk writes a plain text report to the macOS clipboard. The app does not upload that copied text to Gobling Company.

4. No Account Or Cloud Sync

TagBoard Desk does not require an account and does not sync file names, file paths, tags, notes, recent runs, or copied reports to a Gobling Company server or cloud service.

5. No Tracking

TagBoard Desk does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, account creation, cloud sync, or a Gobling Company backend server for app data.

6. Apple Services

TagBoard Desk uses Apple's system frameworks for sandboxed file access, Finder tag metadata, local storage, menu bar presentation, clipboard writing, and App Store purchase delivery. Apple may process purchase and device information under Apple's own policies.
