Umbrafield Privacy Policy

Umbrafield calculates sun and shadow studies on your device. Saved sites stay there unless you choose to share an export.

1. Information on Your Device

Umbrafield stores the site names, manually entered coordinates and UTC offsets, object heights, dates, marked times, and notes you save in local app storage on your device. A new installation starts with an empty library. You may open the included sample courtyard to try the app. No account or location permission is required.

2. Files and Sharing

Umbrafield generates PDF field sheets and CSV tables locally. You decide whether to share or save an export through the iOS share sheet. The destination you choose may have its own privacy practices. Gobling Company does not receive your studies or exported files through the app.

3. Deletion and Collection

You can delete a saved study in the app. Removing the app removes its local data, subject to your device backups; copies you shared or saved elsewhere remain at those destinations. Umbrafield has no ads, analytics, tracking, cloud sync, or developer-operated network service. Gobling Company does not collect data from the app.
