Create and count
Create a close with title, business date (YYYY-MM-DD,2000–2199) and register. Location and cashier are optional. The Android app starts with an empty library. Use Count drawer to enter quantities for $100,$50,$20,$10,$5,$2,$1,50¢,25¢,10¢,5¢ and 1¢. The values are US dollars only. Saving counts records a count time and clears the prior review checks. The quantity limit is 10,000 pieces for each denomination.
Reconcile cash
Expected cash equals starting float + cash sales + cash additions − cash refunds − cash paid out. Include cash tips only when physically added to that drawer. Card sales are separate context and never change expected cash. Record cash physically removed, including safe drops, under cash paid out; do not count the same removal again as a refund. Retained float computes cash above that amount and a shortfall if the counted amount is smaller. It does not transfer or allocate real money.
Use ordinary decimal inputs 0–9,999,999.99 USD, a decimal point and at most two decimal places. No currency conversion, tax calculation or POS reconciliation is provided. Zero cents is balanced. A negative expected amount can be saved for correction but cannot be closed.
Review and close
Save a count, check cash refunds, paid-out receipts and the card batch. Record a note for any non-zero difference. These checks are your manual assertions; the app cannot inspect receipts or approve a deposit. Save review keeps the record open. Close record needs a separate confirmation. A closed record is read-only until explicitly reopened. This is a local workflow lock, not a tamper-proof audit trail. Editing counts or money clears checks; copies already exported do not change.
Keep and export records
History contains your saved closes, with search and open/closed filters. The library holds up to 240 closes; export and remove older records when full. JSON is a complete per-close backup. Import adds an independent identity and preserves other records. It supports only this Android app’s JSON format; there is no automatic iOS transfer or whole-library restore. TXT is a readable handoff packet. CSV uses separate text, amount and quantity columns, quotes every field and prefixes formula-like free text with an apostrophe. JSON/TXT retain original text. Report field labels remain English and amounts are USD.
Android Files opens the input and destination you select. JSON input limit 2 MiB; private library 8 MiB. An external save error may leave an incomplete external file: retry and check the saved copy. Share opens Android’s chooser; delivery depends on the recipient app. Independent shared copies use a bounded 64 MiB cache. Clear cached shares can invalidate older links, while private records and separately saved files remain.
Storage and recovery
The private library commits before the visible saved record changes. A failed save keeps the prior record and the open editor’s draft. If the private library cannot be read, editing is blocked and original bytes stay in place. Save unreadable library exports the raw bytes up to 8 MiB; Retry opening rereads after external repair. This is not automatic repair or general power-loss proof. Android cloud backup is disabled. Uninstalling or clearing app data removes private closes; keep JSON copies outside the app. Delete removes only the selected private close after confirmation.
Record times are stored in UTC; business date is entered separately. English/Korean UI can be selected in Help. Limits: title 80 characters, location 80, register 40, cashier 60, note 2000.
