Start a layout

Choose an image with Android Files or start with manual pixel dimensions. A normal install is empty. Enter paper, orientation, trim, bleed, safe inset, centered placement and notes, then Save. Imported previews remain staged until Save. Cancel keeps the saved job.

Paper and measurements

A4, A3, US Letter, Tabloid and 8-inch square, portrait or landscape. Trim is 1–1,000 mm per side; bleed is 0–50 mm. Safe inset must leave a positive interior. Source dimensions are 1–100,000 pixels per axis; Custom PPI is 10–2,400. Geometry uses millimetres from the top left of the selected paper, with centered trim, bleed and artwork.

Fill, Fit and Custom

Fill covers the bleed rectangle and crops excess artwork. Fit preserves the whole source within the bleed rectangle, potentially leaving uncovered areas. Custom sets image size from its original pixel dimensions and chosen PPI. Cropped-source and uncovered-bleed percentages are independent area measures and can both be positive. The app warns when bleed exceeds the selected sheet.

300 PPI, 3 mm bleed and 5 mm safe inset are reference values, not a printer guarantee. Confirm actual requirements with your printer.

Images

JPEG, PNG and still WebP, at most 50 MB (50,000,000 bytes) and 40 megapixels. HEIF/AVIF require device codec support. Animation and RAW are not supported. Orientation is applied, transparency flattened onto white, and a private JPEG preview stored with a maximum 2,400 px long edge. PPI uses the original oriented pixel dimensions. Keep original photos separately; CropPress does not retain them. Manual dimensions do not generate source artwork.

PDF, CSV and delivery

Create report produces an actual PDF specification with proportional reduced proof, dimensions, findings and notes. The in-app viewer renders that PDF. UTF-8 CSV quotes commas and newlines and prefixes formula-leading cells with an apostrophe. The PNG is a reduced screen proof. Job-record.json is a record without an embedded original or a restore workflow. The ZIP includes PDF, CSV, PNG, JSON, Read-me and a SHA-256 manifest. Save with Android Files or choose a native share recipient.

No print-ready artwork, color conversion, PDF/X, printer profiles or calibrated physical-size output is provided.

Local jobs and recovery

Up to 300 local jobs. Duplicate creates an independent preview copy. Delete asks for confirmation. An atomic saved index is committed before old referenced previews are removed. Unreadable or inconsistent saved data is protected from further writes; do not clear app data if you need it. Check device storage and retry a failed save. Contact support with the app version and the visible error, without private images.

Uninstalling or clearing app data removes local jobs. Android automatic backup is disabled. Keep original images and important reports elsewhere. External exports do not change when a job is later edited or deleted.
