Import or paste a manuscript
Start from an empty library. Choose .txt, .text, .md or .markdown through Android Files, or paste text with a title. UTF-8 and BOM-marked UTF-16 are supported. Original files are read without modification. The app retains a normalized private text copy. Markdown headings, Chapter followed by Arabic or Roman numerals, Prologue and Epilogue create sections; text before the first heading becomes Opening pages. Without headings, there is one Full draft section.
Understand the counts
Words are Unicode letter/number runs with a possible internal apostrophe; unspaced languages are not linguistically segmented. Section headings are excluded from word counts. Character counts use Unicode code points; whole-source characters include headings. Blank lines separate paragraphs. Sentences split on . ! ? 。 ！ ？, so abbreviations can split. Approximate dialogue counts words inside complete matching straight or curly double quotation marks. Frequent words omit a small English stop-word list. Estimated read time uses 225 words/minute; an empty section is zero minutes.
Review observations
Tap a chapter to read its source and metrics. Long-paragraph observations open the actual corresponding paragraph. Mark observations reviewed and filter to open items. Each draft has independent paragraph, short/long section and dialogue thresholds. Reanalysis resets that draft's review marks. Length outliers are below 45% or above 180% of the median chapter length. Repeated openings require all first six words to match. These observations do not judge writing quality.
Save and share
Save CSV and Markdown separately through Android Files, or share both using the recipient chooser. Reports use English field names and retain Unicode titles. CSV has one row per section, matching the on-screen order and counts. The Markdown report records rules, measurements, frequent words and reviewed flags. It is not a complete manuscript backup and cannot restore source text. Shared/exported copies remain in the chosen destination until you remove them there. A recipient app or cloud document provider has its own policies.
Limits and retention
Each source may be at most 10 MB,200,000 words and500 sections. Pasting is limited to 1,000,000 UTF-16 code units. Keep at most 20 drafts and30 MB of retained source text. Source paragraph previews display the first 8,000 UTF-16 code units of each paragraph when longer. Rename and review marks persist locally. Delete removes the selected private source, analysis, review marks and temporary shared reports, without changing originals or exported files. Invalid imports and invalid rules do not replace saved data. An unreadable library is preserved instead of automatically reset. Contact support before clearing app storage.
There is no whole-library backup, automatic cloud sync or iOS migration. Android automatic backup is disabled. Uninstalling or clearing app storage deletes retained manuscripts. Keep your originals outside the app and save reports when needed.
