Plan and rehearse
Create a project or explicitly load an example. Add performers, choose music, then add timed formations. Drag performers or use the performer menu → Position (m) to enter X/Y coordinates. Editing between cues creates a cue at the current time. Undo/redo are available. Use 3D, top or front views, orbit and zoom, then adjust lighting and A/B loop points.
Rehearsal review in Android 1.1
Open the route icon in the editor. Set Center spacing between 0.1 and 5 m and select Review. Results show a performer pair, cue transition, closest time and distance. Tap a row to return to that time. The exact minimum is calculated along the app’s modeled straight paths with common smoothstep timing; bodies and different performer timing are excluded. It is a planning aid, not a safety check.
Save actual files
Create rehearsal handoff writes Cue-positions.csv, Transition-spacing.csv, an editable Stageflow-ID.stageflow project including imported music, Handoff.json with hashes, and Rehearsal-handoff.zip. Tap CSV/JSON to inspect text. Save uses Android’s destination picker and reports success after writing finishes; cancellation retains the private copy. Share opens a chooser and does not verify delivery. Saved handoffs remain reachable on the rehearsal screen and can be deleted individually.
Existing work and backups
Projects and imported music stay in app storage through an ordinary update. Library → project menu → Share backup exports the editable project with music. Import restores an independent project. Delete project removes its private music and handoffs. An unreadable project file is retained and can be exported; healthy projects still open. Back up externally before uninstalling or clearing app data. Device backups follow operating-system settings; do not rely on them as your only backup.
Limits
Up to 200 performers, 1–3,600 seconds per project, 2–50 m stage dimensions. Spacing review: up to 500 cues and 20,000 flagged pairs. Handoffs: up to 5 per project, 256 MB total, imported music up to 32 MB; save/delete an older handoff to free space. Source backups remain available for larger music. MP4 uses 1280×720 at 30 fps and original 1× tempo; rehearsal speed does not change exported audio pitch or tempo. Use music you have rights to; DRM streaming files are unsupported.
