Start a measured wall
A normal installation starts empty. Create a named wall, choose centimeters or inches, and enter its measured dimensions. The reference is the wall's lower-left corner: X runs right and Y runs up from the floor. An explicit sample-wall action is available; it is never inserted automatically.
Place framed artwork
Add each frame's outside width and height, lower-left position, measured hook drop from the top, and spacing between two hooks. Zero spacing gives one center hook. Choose an artwork image through Android Files; the app makes a private JPEG derivative. Drag on the wall or use arrows to move one displayed unit. Exact position remains editable in the frame form. Changing displayed units preserves physical centimeter measurements; changing wall dimensions retains frame positions.
Geometry and marks
Center hook X = frame X + half frame width. Dual hooks sit half their spacing on either side. Hook Y = frame Y + frame height − measured drop. Checks cover wall boundaries, overlaps and nearest rectangular clearance below 3 cm, including diagonal corner distance. Findings describe entered geometry only. Re-measure the wall and loaded hardware before marking holes; the app does not detect studs, wires, suitable anchors or structural load.
Save and import
Mounting sheet creates immutable report snapshots. Save PDF, CSV, project JSON or ZIP through Android Files, or share ZIP to an app you choose. PDF includes the photo-backed scaled wall and paginated coordinates. It is not a full-size drilling template. CSV quotes names and neutralizes formula-leading names. ZIP includes PDF, CSV, project JSON, README and a SHA-256 manifest.
Project JSON contains one wall and its stored JPEG artwork copies. Embedded JPEGs must decode correctly, fit within 2000 pixels per edge and 4 megapixels, and stay under 512 KiB. Import preserves their bytes. Import JSON validates the file, previews the wall name and frame count, and adds a new copy after confirmation; existing walls remain unchanged. It is the Android exchange format, not an iOS project file or a whole-library backup. Export each project you want to retain before uninstalling.
Image and storage limits
Up to 20 walls and 30 frames per wall, with a 24 MiB total library and 8 MiB per project. Still-image input is limited to 32 MiB and 40 megapixels; imported JPEG derivatives are at most 1000 pixels on the longer edge and 512 KiB, without original EXIF/GPS metadata. Images are cropped to fill their frame preview. The original selected file is not changed. Cancelling image selection retains the current draft image.
Wall and frame deletion require confirmation and remove private stored copies; exported files remain where you saved them. Atomic save failures preserve the previous library. An unreadable saved index is protected from overwrite; check storage and contact support before clearing data. Android automatic backup is disabled; uninstall or app-data clearing removes the local library. Reports remain in cache and report folders older than seven days may be pruned when a new report is generated.
