Start a measurement
Surveys → New survey → Add window. Enter your air temperature, relative humidity and glass temperature, then Save reading. Select Compare or History to inspect saved observations. Use New reading to begin another entry; Edit reading changes the selected record. No login or sensor connection is required.
Import CSV
Surveys → Share CSV template, or Import measurements CSV → Files. UTF-8 CSV up to4MB,2,400 data records. Required headers: Window, Timestamp UTC, Air C, RH percent, Glass C. Optional: Room, Buffer C (defaults to2), Moisture observation, Note. Extra columns, including computed output, are ignored. Outer whitespace is trimmed. ISO8601 timestamps need a timezone. Quoted commas, quotes and newlines are supported.

Review measurements shows accepted windows and reasons each invalid record is skipped. A duplicate window/room/timestamp is skipped; the first valid record is kept. Structural errors such as unclosed quotes stop the whole import. Nothing is saved until Import accepted readings. Existing surveys and the source file stay unchanged.
Ranges and limits
Air and glass0–45°C/32–113°F; RH5–100%; chosen buffer0–5°C.24 surveys,24 windows each,100 readings per window;1,000 characters per note. Names80characters. JSON backup4MB per survey. PDF contains the first250 readings in window/date order. CSV and JSON contain every saved reading. PDF uses selected units/local time; CSV Celsius/UTC.
Export and restore
Report → Preview PDF, Share PDF report, Share readings CSV or Share survey backup. Save JSON externally through the system share sheet. Surveys → Restore survey backup creates a separate copy. There is no automatic cloud sync. Export before deleting the app. Deleting a survey or reading does not delete previously shared files.
Understand the result
Surface margin is measured glass minus approximate water dew point. At/below zero describes a calculated temperature relationship, not observed droplets or a defect. Measurements from different times are not simultaneous. The curve holds air/glass temperature fixed. Buffer is your worksheet setting, not an instrument tolerance, diagnosis or recommended humidity. No frost model or remediation prescriptions.
If local data cannot be read, the library file is preserved and writes are blocked. Do not uninstall before recovering accessible documents through Files or contacting support. CSV/JSON errors preserve existing records. Use the optional fictional example to explore without supplying measurements.
