Choose an image

Select a still image with Android Files, inspect its private staged copy and tap Add. Cancel leaves the library unchanged. JPEG, PNG and still WebP are supported; HEIF and AVIF depend on the device codec. Animation and RAW are not supported. Input limits are80MiB and80 megapixels. Orientation is applied and the sRGB working copy has a maximum4096px longest edge.

Four corners and proportions

Set points clockwise from top left. Drag a handle to see the real source-pixel loupe, enter working-pixel coordinates or nudge by one pixel. A crossed or too-small selection cannot create files. Use the known original width : height in the same units. Ratios from1:4 to4:1 are supported. Edge-based estimation is approximate. The interactive preview has a1000px longest edge; output images can be opened separately at their actual resolution and inspected up to8×.

Create and save files

Choose1–5 unique PNG/JPEG sizes with320–4096px longest edge. PNG retains alpha. JPEG uses quality95 and a white background. Output can enlarge the selected region. Original EXIF and other source metadata are not embedded. A delivery contains the real images, WorkingSource.png, Planalta-settings.json and Manifest.json with dimensions, transform, byte counts and SHA-256 hashes. The app reopens the output dimensions and verifies files before showing delivery controls. Tap an image row to inspect that actual file.

Back up a working artwork

Keep the ZIP and save the exact original separately. To resume elsewhere, import WorkingSource.png from the ZIP, then choose Restore settings and the matching Planalta-settings.json. Confirm replacement of corners, ratio and sizes. Restoration requires the exact oriented working pixels, dimensions and complete settings format. A visually similar or recompressed source will not match. Source filenames and artwork names are not replaced by restore.

Private library and cache

Keep up to20 artworks and512MiB of private original/working files. Rename or duplicate an artwork; deletion requires confirmation. Saved plans survive restart. Editing makes old delivery stale. A new delivery is limited to120MiB of payloads, and two recent delivery batches may remain in cache. Android can clear cached files; saved exports remain where you put them. Keep independent copies of important originals and backups. An unreadable index pauses changes and offers retry and an exact index export. An unreadable plan preserves its source and offers original export or another artwork.

What this corrects

Planalta performs projective correction of a flat subject. It does not correct lens distortion, flatten curved pages, recognize text, calibrate color, or restore missing detail. It converts the working image to sRGB. It is not a print color proof or a guarantee of accurate physical measurements. Verify the result in your intended workflow.
