Create and record
A normal install starts empty. Create a habit with name, cue or minimum, day part, weekdays, start date and color. Up to 50 habits can be stored. Only scheduled dates from the start date through today are editable. Check today directly, or open a dated cell to record Done, Skipped or Clear, with a note.
How streaks work
Done adds one scheduled day to the chain. Skipped dates and past unrecorded scheduled dates break it. Days off do not break it. Today's pending date keeps the previous chain until the date passes. Completion rate is Done / Scheduled; skipped dates remain in the denominator. All statistics come from entered records.
Schedule and history
Weekday edits begin tomorrow, preserving prior schedules. Name, cue, color and day-part edits do not change records. Archive retains history and stops scheduling after today; it does not erase old results. Delete removes the habit and its dated entries after confirmation.
Dates and travel
Records retain the civil date selected when entered, UTC recording time and UTC offset. Travel does not remap old dates. The device's local date defines today. Rollover refreshes when the app resumes and periodically while open. Changing the device clock can change today; future dates cannot be recorded through the app.
Backup, restore and reports
Create files from Files. Save through Android Files or use Share ZIP. JSON includes all habits, schedule revisions and dated entries; it does not include device reminder settings. Restore validates the selected JSON, previews counts and requires confirmation before replacing the library. Export a current backup first if you want to retain it. Invalid or oversized backups are rejected without changing the library.
The selected month's PDF contains habit summaries and daily totals. CSV contains each scheduled date's status, note, UTC timestamp and offset. CSV quotes text and neutralizes spreadsheet formulas with an apostrophe. ZIP includes PDF, CSV, full JSON, README and a SHA-256 manifest. Generated files are snapshots.
Reminder delivery
Daily review is an optional inexact Android alarm, not a precise alarm clock. Permission is requested when enabled; denial leaves notifications off. Android battery settings and system restrictions may delay delivery. Force-stop suspends reminders until the app is reopened; device reboot and timezone/time changes reschedule enabled reminders. The notification uses generic wording without habit names.
Storage and recovery
Records are stored locally. Android automatic backup is disabled. Uninstalling or clearing app data removes the library. JSON backups are limited to 4 MiB, 50 habits and 50,000 dated entries. Atomic saves preserve the previous library if writing fails. If a saved library is unreadable, the app protects it and offers validated backup restore. Do not clear app data before recovering important records.
