Every crossing adds up.

Read the two clues

Fill each white run with different digits from 1 to 9. The upper-right number in a diagonal clue gives the sum across; the lower-left gives the sum down. Every white cell belongs to both an across and a down run. Underlined digits are fixed printed anchors.

Pencil, ink and combinations

Tap a white cell, choose Ink or Pencil, then use the keypad. Pencil toggles a candidate digit. Erase, Undo and Redo change your entries. The crossing inspector lists distinct-digit combinations for each selected run. The Combination lab lets you choose 2–5 cells, a sum, and required digits.

When you need help

Check highlights impossible runs or reports a crossing conflict. Hints explain narrowing through the grid, or explicitly label a bounded search proof. Check, Hint and computed Notes mark the current attempt With tools. Undo does not remove this marker. Search has a limit and can ask you to try another crossing.

Earn the Grand volume

The first 96 boards are available in Collection. Clear eight different base boards to earn Grand crossings; assisted clears count. Repeating one board does not advance this unlock. Today's crossing selects an included base board using the UTC date.

Local saves and sharing

Each board keeps its unfinished ink, pencil notes and undo history. Cleared crossings stores the latest 80 attempts with up to 2,000 recent entry and tool actions per attempt. Share records exports Kakurel-crossing-records.json through the system share sheet. It is a clear-record export, not a full backup or import. Uninstalling or resetting deletes local progress.
