Matching tiles

Two tiles match when their original symbol and small number are identical. A tile is free when no tile is above it and its left or right side is open. Dots, reeds and blossoms each run from one to six. This is solitaire, not four-player Mahjong.

Stuck on a board?

Hints attempt a bounded search. A checked continuation is labelled clearly. An immediate pair does not promise a full clear. Undo a pair, or try Redeal: it assigns new faces only after checking a removal order for the remaining geometry. Some positions require undo or a new board.

Coasts and finishes

Four distinct clears in a room open the next. Assisted clears also count. Free play opens all layouts immediately. Finishes are earned at 0, 4, 12 and 24 different clears.

Saving and export

Play, progress and preferences save locally. Cleared boards hold the last 80 real plays. Share records exports Shorepair-cleared-boards.json through your device share sheet. This is a clear record, not a full backup or import. Removing the app removes local data. Settings includes record deletion and a complete local reset.
