Privacy policy

Effective November 7, 2026. This policy covers EPUB Chapter Lab for Android, published by Gobling Company.

Local publications

Imported original EPUB copies, filenames, publication metadata, chapter order, labels, inclusion, source text, source hashes, plans, selected publication and language stay in private app storage. Build artifacts may be cached locally. The developer receives none of these automatically. There are no accounts, ads, analytics, developer-server uploads or cloud synchronization. Android backup is disabled.

Selected documents and recipients

The release requests no network or broad storage permission. Android Files lets you choose individual source/plan files and save destinations. ZIP sharing uses Android’s chooser. Copy output hash writes the actual hash to the clipboard. Document providers, recipient apps and your external browser have their own policies and may use network services.

Export and deletion

Exports contain publication content and editorial metadata. Inspect them before sharing. Deleting a publication removes its private original, plan and cached outputs. Files already saved or shared remain wherever you put them. Uninstalling or clearing app data removes private records; preserve important originals independently. Unreadable index/plan recovery does not silently reset private originals.
