Local Network Inspector

Privacy policy

Effective November 7, 2026. This policy covers Local Network Inspector for Android by Gobling Company.

On your device

The app stores your endpoint labels and IPs, chosen ports, DNS hostname, actual connection results, network addresses/routes/resolvers, timestamps, baseline selection and notes in private device storage. Gobling Company does not receive these records. There is no developer analytics SDK, advertising SDK, account, tracking or automatic developer-server upload.

Requested network traffic

When you start an inspection, the app sends TCP connection attempts to the local IPs and ports you chose. Those endpoints receive the connection traffic and can see your source address. If you set a DNS hostname, Android resolves it on the default network; its DNS provider receives the query and may use cache or its own infrastructure. Opening support/privacy links contacts the company website through your browser. The app does not read Wi-Fi SSIDs, MAC identities or location.

Files and sharing

Save and share happen only when requested. Android Files and your selected providers follow their own policies and may use cloud services. Exported files contain the records you selected, including potentially sensitive IPs and notes; review the report before sharing. No broad storage permission is requested.

Deletion

Deleting an inspection removes its private record and generated ZIP. The oldest record is removed when the 30-record limit is exceeded. Copies exported to other providers remain there until you delete them. Clearing app data or uninstalling removes private app records; save important reports first. Unreadable original files are retained for user-requested export.
