Create a grade
Open the optional editable example, or choose Projects → New project. Settings adds pieces and sets the base size. In Draft, edit outline points in boundary order; the final point closes to the first. Rules assigns X/Y movement by point name. Sizes adds unique steps around the step-zero base.
Print correctly
Export → choose piece, size and A4 or Letter → Preview print PDF. The first page contains the assembly map and a 100 mm calibration line. Print at 100% / Actual size and disable Fit to page. Measure that line before trimming and joining the labelled tile frames with 5 mm overlap. Limits: 100 tiles and 3,000 mm outline span.
Resolve checks
A crossing outline needs its point order or coordinates repaired. Every point name needs a single shared vector; use zero movement to hold a point fixed. Each size needs a unique name and step, with the named base at step zero. Invalid drafts can be saved, but geometry export stays blocked.
Backup and recovery
Projects exports the library and restores JSON as independent project copies. Export also backs up a single project. An unreadable existing library is protected; export the original before choosing an explicit replacement backup. Replacement retains a separate local original. Keep your own backup copies.
