A cut you can reuse
Set inclusive X/Y/Z bounds or enter source coordinates. Compare the untouched original, name useful cuts and restore them later. Density reduction retains the first original point in each source-origin voxel.
Six actual files
Checked cut PLY, original PLY, coordinate/index/RGB CSV, restorable JSON, three-view PNG and PDF summary. Every selected scalar record is checked after writing the PLY. Share the files or save them through the system sheet.
Choose the right source
ASCII or binary LE/BE scalar PLY 1.0, up to 500,000 points and 64 MiB. No nonempty mesh faces, vertex lists, Gaussian splats, scanning, E57/LAS/LAZ or survey certification. Preview is capped at 80,000 points; filtering/export use the full source. Source units are not assumed to be meters. Proof images are schematic. The pictured analytic ceramic study is original and optional.
