Devices, ports and cables

Define inputs and outputs for Analog, AES3, ADAT or USB Audio. Keep connector type, cable label, length and notes with each connection. The route list, device-pair matrix and zoomable diagram use the same editable plan. On a tablet, route facts remain beside the workspace.

Review declared values

For analog links, compare source maximum plus a modeled external gain with the input limit and inspect the individual impedance ratio. Digital checks compare declared formats, rates and clock-reference labels without applying analog dBu math. Repeated cable labels, shared inputs and fan-out are made explicit.

Carry the plan forward

Create a PDF route sheet, UTF-8 CSV and portable JSON backup. Preview and save each file through Android, or open a share sheet. Import an Android backup or an original iOS PatchBay single-plan JSON export as a separate editable copy. Imported digital ports require explicit clock-reference review.

Manual planning, stated scope

No audio recording, hardware discovery, live routing, signal measurement or physical clock-lock verification. Device-internal paths and combined fan-out loading are not inferred. Values are entered by you; check equipment manuals and the physical setup.
